Why Recycle?
Recycling is easy to do and really can make a difference.
When we recycle, materials are converted into new products, reducing the need to consume natural resources which will help to protect natural habitats for the future.
Recycling is one of the best ways for us all to have a positive impact on the world in which we live. Recycling is important to both the natural environment and us. We must act as the amount of waste we create is increasing all the time.
The amount of rubbish we create is constantly increasing because:

Increasing wealth means that people are buying more products and ultimately creating more waste.

Increasing population means that there are more people on the planet to create waste.

New packaging and technological products are being developed, much of these products contain materials that are not biodegradable.

New lifestyle changes, such as eating fast food, means that we create additional waste that isn’t biodegradable.
Environmental Importance
Recycling is very important as waste has a huge negative impact on the natural environment.

Harmful chemicals and greenhouse gasses are released from rubbish in landfill sites. Recycling helps to reduce the pollution caused by waste.

Habitat destruction and global warming are some of the affects caused by deforestation. Recycling reduces the need for raw materials so that the rainforests can be preserved.

Huge amounts of energy are used when making products from raw materials. Recycling requires much less energy and therefore helps to preserve natural resources.
Importance To People
Recycling is essential to cities around the world and to the people living in them.

No space for waste. Our landfill sites are filling up fast, by 2010, almost all landfills in the UK were full.

Reduce financial expenditure in the economy.

Making products from raw materials costs much more than if they were made from recycled products.

Recycling reduces the need for raw materials; it also uses less energy, therefore preserving natural resources for the future.
Reduce, Reuse, Recycle
There are three key factors when thinking about how to recycle – The 3 R’s:
What Fizzy Redds are doing to help.
Fizzy Redds is a tiny company, a mere drop in the Ocean's, but we believe we have the same responsibility as everyone else in the world to recycle, reuse and reduce the landfill, to protect the planet that is essential to our existence. We try to recycle, reuse any goods that come our way.
A big income into and out of, the business is cardboard and postage packing, When the post with new goods arrives, after emptying the packaging we assess what could be reused, small boxes that are undamaged and still sturdy to protect our good going out and will fit goods going out to customers, are kept until needed. Bubblewrap enveloped are a little hit and miss, the recyclable bubble wrap envelopes have two possibilities, 1st replace the postage label and address label and send out again, or the outer paper shell removed and used as bubble wrap pockets to protect good going out to customer's, like the garden candles which fit very well into these pockets.
The boxes are to package multiples of goods, brown paper is collected from deliveries into Fizzy Redds, and reused for protective packaging or after a layer of recycled bubblewrap has been wrapped around the box a brown paper layer is added to the outside of the package, for the addresses and postage to be added to.
